Julio, known for his dedication to both academics and athletics, now faces a new battle as he grapples with partial paralysis caused by the bullet that struck him in the back.

The night of April 2nd was supposed to be like any other for Julio Galay, a young man with dreams as big as the city itself. But as he honed his basketball skills on the very courts where he grew up perfecting his craft, tragedy struck. Shot in the back and left to die, Julio's life was forever changed in an instant.
